With divided opinion on ‘dubbing’ issue from non language film and television programs to Kannada, the stage is set for protest on dubbing on Monday.

 

The bigwigs of Kannada cinema industry are taking part in the protest march that starts from Mysore Bank Circle to Central College grounds. The mammoth attendance, traffic jam and industry unity all take place in the show of strength.

 

The major setback to this protest has come from Kannada Film Producers Association. In a letter issued the KFPA asked all the cinema workers who are joining protest to join their work without disturbing the producers. It is a condition that the cinema workers agreed upon at a meeting. No obstacle or stopping of work should not happen is the condition Cinema Workers Association agreed – KFPA directed KFCC to strictly follow this condition.

 

As Dr Ambarish is minister of Housing in Congress I ruled state he extends an indirect support. The rally and address on Monday from Kannada cinema industry is lead by Shivarajakumar. Vatal Nagaraj of Kannada Chaluvali Paksha is also main leader for this protest on dubbing.

 

In the meeting held on Sunday morning at Press Club of Bangalore – V Ravichandran, Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, TS Nagabharana, Dr Srinath, Ashok, MS Ramesh, Hema Chaudhary, Shruthi, Pooja Gandhi, Sa Ra Govindu and other institutions are joining for the protest.
